#R1# Kross tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dennie defends well and Kross ends up having to push Dennie into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Dennie throws a quick counter head kick but Kross was just out of range. Kross closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dennie circles away. Dennie is looking for a counter combo. Dennie tries a low kick but Kross avoids it. Danga de danga de dang - Dennie scores with a four punch combination! Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kross darts in looking for a takedown but Dennie gets double underhooks and turns Kross into the cage. Dennie is looking to counter punch. Austin Dennie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caine Kross. Kross shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dennie but Dennie pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kross wants to clinch up but Dennie keeps it at a distance. As Kross looks to move away, Dennie throws a big counter combo but Kross just gets out of the way. Dennie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kross.#T1# Kross shoots in for a double leg but Dennie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dennie throws a head kick that half lands.

Dennie lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kross circles away quickly and effectively. Kross doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Kross doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dennie counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kross fails miserably with a takedown attempt.#T2##TD2# Kross dives in and scores a takedown into Dennie's guard. Kross with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kross looks winded!#SUB# Dennie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Kross is defending well. Dennie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Kross has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Dennie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

#R1##TD2# Kross shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kross showed some decent athleticism there.
Olivera manages to escape and get back to his feet! Olivera stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Olivera wants it to stay on the feet. Caine Kross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kross tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Olivera defends well and Kross ends up having to push Olivera into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Olivera looks to throw the jab but Kross is out of range. Despite the aggression on Kross's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Olivera throws a series of punches but Kross moves out of range. Kross shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Olivera sprawls well. Olivera wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kross gets slowly back to his feet. Carlos Olivera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caine Kross.#T1# Nice takedown defense from Olivera. No joy for Kross on that attempt. Kross moves out of range of the body kick. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Olivera displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kross. Kross looks winded! Olivera tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kross paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kross misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kross looks for a takedown but Olivera sprawls well. It looked like Olivera was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.#T3# Olivera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
As Olivera backs off Kross throws a huge counter combo but Olivera manages to avoid it all.#TD# Olivera fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kross to the ground. Olivera is now in Kross's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Olivera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kross swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kross has momentary wrist control but Olivera slips an elbow through the middle. Kross can't keep his opponent in guard - Olivera advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Olivera is looking to advance position but Kross won't allow it. Olivera keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.#T4# Olivera trying to pass the guard but Kross defending well. #SUB# Olivera wants to work for an arm triangle but Kross is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
