Manini has Kapanadze pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Manini pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kapanadze tumbling to the mat - Manini dives into Kapanadze's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Manini is pushing down on Kapanadze's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kapanadze is fighting to maintain full guard but Manini has managed to sneak the leg through.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kapanadze is bucking up trying to escape but Manini cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Manini postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kapanadze looks a forlorn figure.

Kapanadze looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
