#R1# Some wild striking there from Alvarez.
Hayden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alvarez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Alvarez tries to counter by closing the distance. Alvarez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As Alvarez tries to get set, Hayden tries to push him back and clinch up but Alvarez manages to avoid the attempt. Hayden swats away the attempt to clinch by Alvarez. Hayden changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Horrible takedown attempt by Hayden or perhaps it was just good defense by Alvarez, which made it look bad. #TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Hayden enables Alvarez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hayden manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alvarez is stalling in the full guard. Hayden trying to keep a closed guard but Alvarez is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Alvarez looking to pass the guard. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Alvarez wants to stand and escape but instead Hayden has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# Alvarez looking to control.
Hayden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Alvarez wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Alvarez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Alvarez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hayden with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Alvarez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hayden is controlling him. Hayden wants to stand but Alvarez has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hayden manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Hayden has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Alvarez is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. A battle for position here, against the cage. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Alvarez has eaten all the pies!#T4##TD2# Alvarez turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hayden is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Alvarez has just dragged him back down to the mat. Alvarez trying to control the action but Hayden is working from the bottom. Hayden struggling a bit here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Alvarez landing strikes. Alvarez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hayden keeps working. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Cooper Hayden will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!#R2# Hayden scores with a jab to the head.

I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Alvarez is fighting to break Hayden's control of his arms but Hayden is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Alvarez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hayden keeping moving, preventing Alvarez from controlling successfully. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Alvarez dodges the punch combination from Hayden.
Alvarez is looking for the big counter here.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Alvarez tries to circle away but Hayden has him pinned against the cage. Alvarez tries to pull guard but Hayden forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Hayden tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Alvarez is trying to pull guard but Hayden has him pressed against the cage. Hayden tries to pull guard but Alvarez won't allow it.
Alvarez is defending well against a takedown attempt. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Guillermo Alvarez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!#R3# Alvarez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hayden. Alvarez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hayden sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Alvarez somewhat. Hayden goes for a double leg but Alvarez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Alvarez continues to drive forward. Hayden has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Alvarez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hayden tries to score a body lock takedown but Alvarez shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cooper Hayden. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hayden is trying to stall.

Alvarez is working Hayden over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Alvarez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Let's hope that Alvarez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T3# Hayden is trying to hold Alvarez in close to prevent damage but Alvarez has managed to pass into half guard.
Alvarez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Alvarez lands with a punch from half guard. Alvarez sitting and controlling from the half guard. Hayden moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Alvarez scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Alvarez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hayden's head. Hayden wants to control the position but Alvarez says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Alvarez is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Alvarez seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hayden tries to clinch up. Alvarez throws a counter combo.
And that's the end of the fight! Guillermo Alvarez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Alvarez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
