Nice takedown defense from Dennie. No joy for Abboud on that attempt. Dennie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Abboud. Abboud uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dennie. Dennie tries to bum rush Abboud with a series of wild strikes but Abboud uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Horrible takedown attempt by Abboud or perhaps it was just good defense by Dennie, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Malik Abboud. That's going to take a lot out of him. Abboud shoots for a double leg takedown but Dennie sprawls well. He's pushed Abboud's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Abboud. Dennie throws a counter combo.#TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Abboud. Dennie gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#SUB# Dennie is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Dennie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.#CUT2#It looks like Dillon Dennie has been cut. Dennie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcdonald sprawls well. Dennie connects with a nice short shot to Solis's temple. Dennie thows a huge punch but Solis dodges it nicely.

Dennie tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kurogane shoots in for a takedown but Dennie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dennie went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. A punch combination from Dennie misses. #TD# Dennie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kurogane manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kurogane wants to get back to his feet but Dennie passes into half guard.
