Santana looks to land a combination. Galvao sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Horrible takedown attempt by Galvao or perhaps it was just good defense by Santana, which made it look bad.
Santana tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Galvao swivels and escapes.#TD#
Galvao shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Galvao showed some decent athleticism there.
Santana tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Galvao manages to move to mount!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Galvao postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Santana badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Galvao around the waist but Galvao pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Galvao is the winner by TKO! Galvao jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
