Ryan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sims uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ryan.
Ryan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sims doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Sims throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ryan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Simss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sims dips a shoulder and cracks Ryan with a mighty uppercut! Ryan falls back against the cage and Sims unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ryan is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sims screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ryan getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Engel takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Engel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Engel has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Some wild striking there from Ryan.
Ryan scores with a sloppy right hand. Engel should have avoided that one.

Ryan throws a pinpoint strike between Engel's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Engel crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Ryan scores a great knockout victory!

Ryan moves forwards but Moro connects with a nice, crisp jab.

We've been told by Ryan's head coaches at NYC Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Alimkhanov misses with a double jab
and Ryan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Alimkhanov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ryan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Alimkhanov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Alimkhanov could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
