Dixon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Dixon stalling.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dixon connects with a nice short shot to Bombfist's temple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bombfist holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dixon works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Dixon is nestled in close to Bombfist, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bombfist makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bombfist.
Bombfist is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gray Dixon dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.#R2##TD2#
Dixon dives in and scores a takedown into Bombfist's guard.
Bombfist is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dixon dives into side control.

Dixon postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Bombfist in real trouble here! The ref calls for Bombfist to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
