#R1# John tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Davenport connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. John looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! A slow jab from Davenport misses its intended target. We've been told by John's head coaches at Roosters Coop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Prison John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. John doesn't manage to clinch there - Davenport circles away.
#KD2# Davenport lands a big right hand that sends John crashing to the mat! Davenport stays standing though and waves John back to his feet!#ROC2#John is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Prison John has been cut. John ducks under a wild hook from Davenport. Oh John is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! John gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Davenport counters with a huge right that knocks John out cold! Davenport is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

#R1##CL2# Rynkowski moves into range and clinches up with John. John jumps guard but Rynkowski stands there with John around his waist. John gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rynkowski lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt John or not. John is breathing heavily. Rynkowski lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Rynkowski cracks John with a nice body shot. A quick uppercut on the inside from Rynkowski. Rynkowski lands a body shot. Rynkowski lands a nice uppercut.#KD2# Rynkowski drops John onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! John is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!#ROC2#John is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rynkowski loads up on a right hand - it lands flush and knocks John senseless! What a punch!

#R1# The fight stays on the outside here - John looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Salazar half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. John throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. John throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salazar's waist but Salazar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing John off to one side. #TD2# John looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Salazar looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salazar looking to hit a scissor sweep but John is one step ahead there. Salazar controlling John's posture. #T1# Salazar trying to control the position.
John trying to control the position from guard on top but Salazar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. John looking to sit in guard and control but Salazar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# John keeping moving, preventing Salazar from controlling successfully. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Salazar slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Salazar trying to control the position from guard on top but John is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. John is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Salazar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Salazar works over John with some ground and pound from guard. John is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Salazar is controlling him. That was a close round but I would say that Mahjid Salazar will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! Mahjid Salazar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Right on cue, Salazar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

And that's the end of the fight! Mahjid Salazar showed his dominance in that final round. Well Salazar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
