#R1##TD# Baby darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Omaa looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Baby wants to pass to mount but Omaa is defending the position. Baby is keen to just control but Omaa is a slippery customer. Baby wants to free his trapped foot but Omaa is holding on for dear life with his legs. Baby scoring with strikes to the body and head. Omaa is refusing to be controlled, as Baby sits in half guard. Omaa on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baby is taking a breather. Omaa says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Omaa punching from the bottom.
Nice strikes from Baby there. We've been hearing that Baby has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.#T1# Baby is nestled in close to Omaa, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Baby takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Baby scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Baby looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Omaa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Baby winds up and cracks Omaa with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baby seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Baby uses his free foot to push down on Omaa's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Omaa. #T2# Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baby tries to control but Omaa wriggling away. Baby raining down hammerfists from mount. Baby trying to control but he's not successful this time. Baby controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Baby trying to control but he's not successful this time. Baby looking to control and managing it successfully. Omaa is still in real trouble! Can Baby finish him?#T3##SUB# Baby is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Omaa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Omaa shrugs it off. Baby looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Omaa covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Berhim Omaa really struggled with his weight cut for this fight. After coming in at 174.8, he had two hours to cut the additional weight. He was unable to do so and as a result, his fight with Brook Blade was cancelled. |

#R1##CL# Omaa closes the distance and pushes Key back into the cage.#TD# Omaa ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Omaa no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Omaa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Key sitting in guard, not really doing much. Omaa working a defensive guard here.
Omaa being controlled here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Key stopping the sweep attempt from Omaa.#T1# Key throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Key not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Omaa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Key on the ground. Key with a lazy takedown attempt and Omaa counters with a series of strikes. Key will be more careful next time no doubt. Key doesn't succeed with the takedown and Omaa counters with a one-two to the body. Berhim Omaa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alvaro Key.#TD# Omaa looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Key!#T2# Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Key is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Key is looking to escape. Key tries to get to full guard but Omaa has control of the leg. Key pulls Omaa in close to his closed guard and prevents Omaa from doing any damage or advancing position.#T3##REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Omaa fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Key tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. #TD# Omaa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Key's guard.#T4##SUB2# Key is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Key wants to sweep but no luck. Key seems keen to control Omaa's posture. Omaa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Key is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# Key throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Omaa is refusing to be controlled, as Key sits in half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Berhim Omaa will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.#R2# Omaa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Berhim Omaa dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!#R3# Key leaves Omaa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Key tries to counter with a clinch but Omaa shakes him off and moves away. Berhim Omaa is winning the standup battle so far. Key rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Omaa moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Key fails with the takedown and Omaa counters with a left and a right that stings Key. Key tries to close the distance and clinch but Omaa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Omaa is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Key. Nice sprawl there from Omaa as Key shoots in. Key takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Omaa shoots in for a takedown but Key shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Omaa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Omaa fails with the takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Key. Key goes for a double leg but Omaa avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Omaa continues to drive forward.#T2##TD# Omaa manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Key on his heels. He'll look to pass Key's guard now, I'm sure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Omaa fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Key closes the distance and clinches up with Omaa, looking for a takedown. Key pushes Omaa against the cage but Omaa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Key has his hands on Omaa's head, controlling the position. #T4# Let's hope that Key has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Key has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Omaa trying to control the position from guard on top but Key is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Key is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Key is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
And that's the end of the fight! Berhim Omaa showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Omaa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
