#R1# Tea slips a jab and a cross from Schallach.
#CL2# Tea darts in and clinches Schallach up against the cage. Tea is stalling here.
Schallach can't break the clinch.
Stalling in the clinch from Tea.
Tea lands a left hand.
Tea lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Schallach is trying to force a seperation but Tea has the dominant position. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Tea lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tea lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Schallach backwards. Still in the clinch, Tea scores with a nice short uppercut. Tea effectively controlling the action here. Tea lands a shoulder strike. #ROC2#Schallach is rocked! Tea's coach down at WillyQuay MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tea's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Schallach tries for a takedown but Tea manages to get underhooks.
#T1# A short left from Tea. Oh Schallach is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Schallach wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Schallach is trying to break the clinch but Tea is controlling him. Schallach seems to have got his legs back now.#KD2# Tea drops Schallach onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Schallach is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Tea creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Schallach with a big uppercut! Schallach tries to clinch up but Tea pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Schallach to the mat! Schallach covers up and Tea unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tyler Tea! A relieved looking Tyler Tea thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |

#R1# Schallach displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Schafer walks into a straight right hand from Schallach. Schafer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Schallach wants to counter the offense by Schafer and move into the clinch position. Schallach pivots, looking for a leg kick but Schafer is out of range and Schallach settles back down. Schafer shoots in and drives through. Schallach sprawls well. Schallach bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Schafer's head backwards.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Schafer prevents the takedown attempt.
Schallach changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Schafer fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Schallach lands a nice shot that snaps Schafer's head back.
#TD# Schafer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Schallach on his heels. He'll look to pass Schallach's guard now, I'm sure. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Schafer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schallach swivels though and keeps the full guard. #T1# Schafer sitting in guard, not really doing much. Schafer passes into half guard. #SUB# Schafer seems to be looking for submissions.
Schafer is trying to control the action in half guard but Schallach is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. #SUB# Schafer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Schallach sees it coming and defends easily. Schallach is refusing to be controlled, as Schafer sits in half guard. #SUB# Schafer seems to be working for a kimura but Schallach defends the submission attempt.#T2# Schafer is thwarting Schallach's attempts to control the position. Schafer not doing much here.
Schallach is trying to control but can't.
Schafer trying to mount his opponent but Schallach defends it. Schallach is looking to control Schafer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Schallach avoid being mounted? Schallach is not content to let Schafer control the position.#T3# Schafer seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Schallach is in trouble now - Schafer has advanced to mount! Schallach is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Schafer controlling the position easily from mount. Schafer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Schallach is looking to escape. #T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Schafer scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Schallach?
Schallach wants to control but Schafer is having none of it.#SUB# Schallach defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Schafer. Schafer wants to get back to his feet but Schallach is holding on tight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Schallach is trying desperately to improve position. Schallach is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hannes Schafer dominated that round. That's time! Schafer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.#R2# Schafer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schallach swivels and escapes. Schafer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nice shot lands for Schallach. Schafer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Schallach but Schallach pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hannes Schafer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schallach will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Schafer throws a big counter combination but Schallach scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A right-left combo lands from Schallach. Schafer shoots and misses and Schallach counters with a straight right hand. Schallach looks to land a combination but Schafer avoids it well. Schallach jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
#ROC2#Schafer is rocked!#T1# Schallach drops Schafer with a big left hand! Schafer is injured, injured bad! Schallach jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
