Powerhouse tries a head kick but it misses.
Dag throwing a counter right hand but Powerhouse manages to avoid it. Powerhouse shoots in looking for a takedown. Dag tries to sprawl out of it but Powerhouse keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dag manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Powerhouse steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dag. We've been told by Dag's head coaches at Cozad Amsterdam that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Powerhouse shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dag escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Powerhouse tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Powerhouse tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dag swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Michael Powerhouse has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Renas Dag is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Renas Dag overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dag controlling the position easily from mount.

Costa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Powerhouse trying to control but Costa postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Costa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Powerhouse keeps working.
