#CUT#It looks like Charles Joao Diaz has been cut. Atunes connects with the punch. Atunes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Atunes tests Joao Diaz's chin there with a solid looking shot. Joao Diaz has his takedown stuffed#KD# and Atunes counters with a crisp one two that drops Joao Diaz! Joao Diaz rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Atunes finish him?!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kontiainen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kontiainen gets through Joao Diaz's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kontiainen lands a left hand that snaps the head of Joao Diaz backwards. #CUT#It looks like Charles Joao Diaz has been cut. Kontiainen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Kontiainen lands with a light punch inside. Kontiainen lands a shoulder strike. Kontiainen throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Joao Diazs head. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Turmarrov tries to get out of the position. Turmarrov holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. You can see the frustration on Turmarrov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Turmarrov is looking for a sweep. Turmarrov manages to work his way to half guard, despite Joao Diaz's best efforts. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joao Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Kiyomochi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kiyomochi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kiyomochi can do anything to dispel that myth.#T1# Joao Diaz wants to control from the top but Kiyomochi keeps moving. Kiyomochi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Joao Diaz slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Joao Diaz gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kiyomochi lands with a nice body punch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kiyomochi throws a shot to the body.
