Eriksson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kuba defends it well.
Eriksson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kuba with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kuba is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Eriksson scores with a couple of nice shots.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kuba shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Eriksson pinned against the cage. Eriksson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Eriksson tries to counter with a clinch but Kuba shakes him off and moves away.#TD2#
Eriksson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kuba napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee asks Eriksson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Eriksson prefers to stall for the moment though.

Eriksson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Kuba's body.

Eriksson lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Eriksson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Kuba is trying to stand. He's onto all fours with Eriksson on his back. Eriksson looks like he's slipping off but he's actually tansitioning to a beautiful armbar! Kuba has to tap out to a very impressive submission!
