Horrible takedown attempt by Sooklal or perhaps it was just good defense by Melamed, which made it look bad. #CL#
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sooklal jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Melamed walks away with a smile on his face. Sooklal gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #CL#
Melamed closes the distance and clinches.

Melamed lands an elbow just above Sooklal 's eye. #CUT#It looks like Veonarine Sooklal has been cut.
Melamed lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Melamed lands an elbow inside.
Melamed lands with a left to the head.
Sooklal is working for takedown but Melamed is calmly controlling the position for now.
Amos Melamed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Veonarine Sooklal.
Melamed prevents the takedown attempt.
Melamed lands an uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sooklal has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Melamed is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Sooklal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sooklal goes for a takedown in the clinch but Melamed prevents it.
Melamed creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sooklal's defenses.
Sooklal drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Melamed comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. #CUT#Veonarine Sooklal's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Tosanesti cracks Sooklal with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.#CUT2#It looks like Veonarine Sooklal has been cut.
Tosanesti misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sooklal blocks a head kick by Tosanesti.
Tosanesti throws a shot to the body.

Tosanesti drops Sooklal with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sooklal looks back up at him and smiles so Tosanesti waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sooklal on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tosanesti. Tosanesti obviously looking to wear him down.
Sooklal shoots in looking for a takedown but Tosanesti manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sooklal's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sooklal gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Tosanesti gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

A relieved looking Chris Tosanesti thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |

Sooklal bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.#SUB#
Sooklal is working to tighten his grip on Rodgers's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rodgers has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sooklal is really squeezing tight and eventually Rodgers passes out! Sooklal breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
