Crespin darts in trying to clinch#TD# and Rose counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Crespin wants to control but Rose passes into side.
Crespin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rose wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rose definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rose looks up at the clock and then as Crespin takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rose smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Crespin can't do much from the bottom here. Crespin is looking for a sweep.#T1# The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Crespin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crespin wants to control but Rose is keeping busy.

He's got his arms around Crespin's waist but Crespin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rose off to one side. Crespin doesn't manage to clinch there - Rose circles away.

Crespin throws a head kick that misses. Rose displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Crespin. Crespin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Crespin tries to clinch but Rose moves out of range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rose is looking to chop away at Crespin's legs. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crespin wants to clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Matt Rose showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rose has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
