#R1##TD# Tsarukyan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kavanah to the ground. Tsarukyan is now in Kavanah's guard. Kavanah utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tsarukyan wants to control from the top but Kavanah keeps moving. Tsarukyan lands a couple of decent looking shots. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kavanah can do anything to dispel that myth. Tsarukyan lands a couple of elbows. Tsarukyan throwing strikes from guard but Kavanah blocks nicely. #R1##TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Tsarukyan. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dan can do anything to dispel that myth. Dan is trying to get back to half guard. Tsarukyan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Tsarukyan scores with punches from side control. Dan tries to bench press Tsarukyan off him but Tsarukyan keeps the position. Tsarukyan is putting a hurting on Dan here, landing some big shots from side control. Tsarukyan working the ground and pound. Tsarukyan working away. Dan on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Dan is trying to get back to half guard. Tsarukyan working the head with strikes. Hai Dan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tsarukyan but Tsarukyan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tsarukyan attempts a counter takedown but Dan avoids it well and moves away. Tsarukyan shoots for a takedown but Dan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
