Farmer throws a right hand that Junior ducks under and follows up with a left that Junior also avoids with ease. Junior appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Junior avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some wild striking there from Farmer.

Junior has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Farmer tries to kick Junior off but Junior keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Junior slows the pace down in half guard. Farmer looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's going to take a lot out of him.#BC2# Farmer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Junior shoots in but no luck this time. Farmer throws out a counter right but Junior avoids it with no problem. Junior shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Farmer but Farmer pushes him off and we're back to square one. Farmer is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Junior slips a jab and a cross from Farmer.

Vinicius Junior overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Junior stays in close to Farmer's body and controls the position. Junior seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Farmer for as long as he can get away with. Farmer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Farmer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #T2# Junior engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Junior is pushing down on Farmer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Farmer is fighting to maintain full guard but Junior has managed to sneak the leg through. Farmer pushes Junior off looking to stand but Junior dives back in and keeps control.
Junior frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. #T3# Junior controlling the position easily from mount. Junior throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Farmer because Junior loaded up on that one. Junior looking to control and managing it successfully. Junior's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T4# Farmer is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Junior takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Junior really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Farmer. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SUB# Junior is cranking Farmer's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Farmer! He's tightened the choke and Farmer is tapping out!

#R1##CL# Stone has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stone stalling.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Junior has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#BC# Stone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stone lands a head kick. Junior smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Junior keeps the fight on the outside. Junior fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stone avoids it really well and circles away. Sloppy strikes from Stone. Those never looked like landing. Stone throws a wild combination but nothing lands. #CL# Stone rushes Junior and presses him up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Junior is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Stone to keep the fight standing. Junior goes for a takedown attempt but Stone pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Roman Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vinicius Junior. Stone throws a left and a right that both miss
#TD2# and Junior counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stone looks to move to half guard but instead Junior has passed into mount! Damn! Junior tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. #T1# Let's hope that Junior has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Poor strikes thrown by Junior there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

#R1# Stone goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Stone moves to clinch but Junior breaks away and Junior counters with a stiff right hand. #TD2# Junior shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stone is trying to defend but Junior finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Junior content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. It looks like Junior might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Stone avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Junior. Stone is looking to improve his position.
Junior seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Let's hope that Junior has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Junior prevents Stone from improving his position.#T1# Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Junior in particular looking to stall. Stone tries to roll over but Junior keeps him under control. Junior is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Junior.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Junior is nestled in close to Stone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.#SUB2# Junior seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Stone is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
