A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wilcox is defended easily by Robbins.
A little feinted left hand from Robbins on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've been told by Robbins's head coaches at Mentor Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wilcox works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Robbins dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Isai Wilcox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#KD#
Robbins lands a left and a right that send Wilcox crashing to the mat, dazed. Robbins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#CUT#It looks like Isai Wilcox has been cut.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Robbins has cracked Wilcox with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Robbins lands another huge swinging hook and Wilcox tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Wilcox, before Robbins can land any more shots!
