#R1# Fairtex wants to clinch. Fairtex is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#TD# Osborne closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fairtex's guard. Fairtex looking to hit a scissor sweep but Osborne is one step ahead there. #SUB# Osborne drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fairtex manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Osborne has Fairtex in his guard.#REVB# Fairtex really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Osborne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Osborne can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fairtex controls the pace.#SUB# Osborne working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fairtex doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Osborne is tightening it up a little... Fairtex has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Fairtex reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Fairtex taps out! Nice BJJ there by Osborne!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Rodrigo Osborne! |
