Chaney tries to clinch letting Calderon counter with a right hand. Calderon steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Chaney. That one must have hurt. Chaney throws a sloppy head kick and Calderon moves out of range easily. Chaney throws a head kick that misses #CL2# and Calderon counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Calderon. #TD2# Calderon decides to pull guard. Chaney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Chaney stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Calderon swivels though and keeps the full guard. #SUB2# Calderon is looking for a triangle here but Chaney uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Calderon can do anything to dispel that myth.
