Plumson throws a wild hook but Spagnolo just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Plumson gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Spagnolo raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Pereira tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pereira has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Pereira has hold of Plumson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Plumson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pereira cranks the arm and Plumson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Plumson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Plumson walks into a jab.#CUT2#It looks like Jermaine Plumson has been cut.
Shioda lands a body shot.
Plumson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Shioda counters with a left to the body. #KD2#
Shioda feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Plumson sprawling to the canvas! Plumson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Shioda finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shioda drops Plumson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Plumson! Shioda dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
