Candy looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
A head kick misses from Candy.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rot! But no joy.
Candy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Candy throws a body kick that misses.
Candy thuds his shin into the meat of Rot's side.
Candy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Rot gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Larkin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Larkin stands and throws Rot's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Check out the look on Larkin's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Larkin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rot down.
