Velazquez shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Velazquez tries to close the distance and clinch but Gonzalez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gonzalez scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Gonzalez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Gonzalez drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Velazquez gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Velazquez pushes off an throws an elbow but Gonzalez leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Velazquez tries to work over Gonzalez's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Velazquez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gonzalez finds it's way round the side to connect with Velazquez's head.
Velazquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gonzalez fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Velazquez to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Velazquez looks to clinch but Gonzalez throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Velazquez taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

and Velazquez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Velazquez tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Nas counters with a stiff right hand.
Velazquez moves in looking to clinch but Nas pushes him off.
Nas lands with a nice body punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hector Velazquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
