#R1# Donk. Pratt catches Knox right on the button with a cross. Pratt misses with the combination.
Knox with a jab. Pratt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Pratt needs to keep his hands up - Knox had a free shot at his head there. Knox misses with a low kick.
Knox swings away with a leg kick that misses. Pratt has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. An inside leg kick lands from Knox. Pratt moves in looking to clinch but Knox pushes him off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knox plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Knox swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pratt throws a head punch that misses. #T1##BC2# Pratt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pratt is looking to chop away at Knox's legs. Pratt tries to clinch up but Knox circles away and keeps his distance. A nice combination there by Knox.
Knox takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Pratt blocks the body kick.

and Knox counters with a straight right hand. Knox ducks under a wild hook from Pratt. Pratt is looking to clinch but Knox is avoiding it.
Knox swats away the attempt to clinch by Pratt. Knox moves out of range as Pratt throws a body kick.

and Pratt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pratt takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Knox throws a series of punches but Pratt avoids them all with ease. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pratt connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Knox's hands. Pratt blocks a head kick by Knox.
Pratt throws a jab when Knox was well out of range. Knox looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Knox throws a solid leg kick but Pratt takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Knox. Whack! Pratt lands a heavy head kick that drops Knox. The ref tackles Pratt to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Knox was done.

#R1# Kaneko throws the left hand but Knox avoids the punch easily. A slow jab from Kaneko misses its intended target. Nice defenses there by Knox. Knox tries a head kick but it misses.
Kaneko connects with a good right hand that stumbles Knox. Knox circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Kaneko misses with a straight left. A head kick misses from Knox. Kaneko misses with a few strikes there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaneko fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Kaneko jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
#CL# Knox rushes Kaneko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Kaneko.
#T1# Kaneko throws an elbow that misses.
Knox is trying to force a seperation but Kaneko has the dominant position. Knox digs a right hand into Kaneko's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kaneko's gas tank. A hook to the body from Kaneko.
Kaneko lands an elbow that stopped Knox in his tracks for a moment. Knox wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Knox's face as he tries to break the clinch. Knox working hard to break the clinch. Kaneko misses with a shot to the kidneys.
#BC# Knox breaks from the clinch.
Knox throws a right and a left that both miss. Knox throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kaneko connects with a body shot that sends Knox's belly button to the back.#CL2# Kaneko moves into the clinch successfully.
#T2# Kaneko misses with a hook to the ribs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kaneko takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Knox cracks Kaneko with a good jab. Kaneko lands a nice shot that snaps Knox's head back.
Kaneko lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Knox at a distance.
Kaneko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knox manages to avoid it.#T3# Knox takes one to the chin there.#KD2# Kaneko lands a big right hand that sends Knox crashing to the mat! Kaneko stays standing though and waves Knox back to his feet!#ROC2#Knox is rocked! Kaneko slips a jab and a cross from Knox.
Oh Knox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kaneko shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Knox takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Kaneko sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Knox bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Go Kaneko! Go Kaneko tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. |
