Maxwell shoots in and bounces Pena off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pena might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Pena wants to sweep here but Maxwell controlling him for the moment.
Pena is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR#
We've been hearing that Pena has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Pena thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Maxwell's head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bly throws a right and a left that Maxwell avoids nicely. #TD#
Maxwell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bly looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Maxwell working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bly bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Maxwell's guard. #REVB##SUB#
Maxwell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bly defends well.

Maxwell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maxwell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maxwell, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
