#R1# Hayes fails to land with a series of punches.
Duke turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Duke pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Duke goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Duke throws a nice head kick!
Hayes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A punch combination from Hayes misses. Duke explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Hayes's jab looks to have found its range, popping Duke under the eye. Hayes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
This has been an exciting period of action! Hayes lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Duke at a distance.

Hayes is defending well but eventually Duke manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Hayes has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

#R1##TD# Duke drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Da Silva stops Duke from passing to mount. Da Silva is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Duke's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Duke prevents Da Silva from improving his position. Da Silva is not content to let Duke control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Da Silva looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Da Silva looks winded!#T4# Duke thuds his shin into the meat of Da Silva's side. Duke slaps away a takedown attempt from Da Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat. Duke lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.#CL# Duke clinches up against the cage. Duke regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Duke seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Da Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. You can see the frustration on Da Silva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Duke fails to land a wild elbow strike.
