Kriel is looking to take this one to the mat.
Still in the clinch, Pear scores with a nice short uppercut.
Kriel tries for a takedown but Pear manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luan Kriel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A left hand lands to the body for Pear.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pear creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Pear gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kriel.

Baudelaire wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kriel, who protects the arm well.
Kriel is looking for a sweep.

Baudelaire is working to tighten his grip on Kriel's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kriel has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Baudelaire is really squeezing tight and eventually Kriel passes out! Baudelaire breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pucic can do anything to dispel that myth.
