#R1##CL2# Getaldic clinches up with Griff and pushes him back against the cage.#TD2# Griff is fighting off a takedown attempt but Getaldic is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Griff to the mat. Griff regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Getaldic wants to pass the guard but Griff is keeping the position. Getaldic pushes down on Griff's leg and manages to get into half guard. Griff is trying to stand up here but Getaldic is controlling him well. Griff wants to control but Getaldic is keeping busy.
#SUB2# Getaldic seems to be working for a kimura but Griff defends the submission attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Getaldic looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. #T1# Griff taking some punishment here, with Getaldic in his half guard. Still in half guard, Getaldic seems content to control. Getaldic is looking to stall here but Griff recovers full guard. Getaldic is in close to Griff's body, working some short punches and elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Getaldic sitting in guard, not really doing much. It looks like Getaldic might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T2# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Let's hope that Getaldic has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Griff looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Getaldic puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Getaldic is thwarting Griff's attempts to control the position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Getaldic connects with a nice short shot to Griff's temple. #T3# Getaldic wants to free his trapped foot but Griff is holding on for dear life with his legs. Griff wants to get back to his feet. Getaldic controlling the action here. Getaldic works his way into side control. #SUB2# Getaldic is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Griff has escaped the position, nice work there. Getaldic working the ground and pound. Getaldic scores with a couple of short elbows.#T4# Griff gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Getaldic has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Getaldic cracks Griff with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
#CUT2#It looks like Exquisite Griff has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Getaldic controlling from mount. Griff takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Getaldic's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

#R1# Clarke shoots in but Griff avoids the takedown attempt easily.#CL2# Griff fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Clarke, pushing him back against the cage. A hook to the body from Griff.
A bit of stalling here from Griff.
Clarke is trying to pull guard but Griff turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.#TD2# Griff ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Griff no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Clarke would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Clarke preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clarke is looking to advance position but Griff has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!#REVB# Griff looking to ground and pound but Clarke is blocking nicely. #T1# Griff looking to control and managing it successfully. Griff avoids the attempt from Clarke to control. Griff controlling his opponent. Clarke wants to control but Griff is having none of it. Griff throws some wild stikes that Clarke manages to avoid easily.

Griff controlling from mount. #T2# Griff throwing strikes here but Clarke is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Clarke is trying to get back to his feet but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clarke tries to hold on but Griff pushes him away. Griff tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Griff thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Griff content just to control the position here. Griff won't let Clarke get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. #T3# Clarke is just holding on here. Griff manages to take his back.
What can Clarke do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Griff is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

That's going to sap some energy. Griff shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clarke as he jumps to the side. Griff misses with a takedown attempt - Clarke sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kellen Clarke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Exquisite Griff.#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Clarke tries to circle away but Griff has him pinned against the cage. Griff controlling the action here for a moment.

Clarke is trying to break free. Clarke tries to work over Griff's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Griff is trying to pull guard but Clarke has him pressed against the cage. Clarke is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Griff is defending well for now. Clarke is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Griff wants to break free but Clarke has control.

#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Clarke is trying to force a seperation but Griff has the dominant position. Griff has Clarke pressed against the cage.

Griff is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Griff working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Clarke. Griff is pulling down on Clarke's head. It's preventing any offense from Clarke, at least for the moment.#T3# Clarke pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Griff is keeping the position for now. Griff managing to control the position. Griff keeping moving, preventing Clarke from controlling successfully. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Griff pulls Clarke in to control the position. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.#T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.#TD# Clarke drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Griff has his feet on Clarke's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Clarke throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Griff takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Nice takedown defense from Clarke. No joy for Griff on that attempt. Clarke tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Griff manages to circle out of the way. Clarke tries to clinch there but Griff circles away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Clarke shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Griff defends it nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Exquisite Griff will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.#R3# Griff fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Clarke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Griff. Griff stuffs the takedown. Clarke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Griff paws at him with a jab and circles away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Griff! But no joy. Griff shoots in looking for a takedown but Clarke manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Griff's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kellen Clarke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Exquisite Griff. Both fighters circling a little - Clarke finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Griff shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clarke as he avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A thudding body kick lands there by Clarke!

Clarke looks for a takedown but Griff sprawls well.#T1##TD# Clarke throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Griff was covering up waiting for the punch and Clarke finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Griff is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Clarke presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Clarke tries to pull guard but Griff won't allow it.
Clarke doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Clarke tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Griff smiles and moves away.
A good leg kick by Clarke. Clarke tries for a takedown but Griff sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.#T2# Clarke tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Griff defends well and Clarke ends up having to push Griff into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Griff throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Clarke has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Griff is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Clarke tries for a takedown but Griff manages to get underhooks.
Clarke fails to pull guard.
#TD2# Griff gets control of Clarke's arms and successfully pulls guard. Griff will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Griff is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Clarke trying to control but Griff is working from the bottom. #SUB2# Griff looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
#T3##SUB2# Griff has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Clarke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Clarke trying to control but Griff is working from the bottom. Griff lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Griff stops Clarke from standing up. #T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Clarke is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Clarke is looking to stand up but Griff isn't so interested in that idea. Clarke might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Griff tries to free his leg and advance position but Clarke is retaining full guard. Griff passes easily into side control. Nice work.#SUB2# Griff thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clarke is trying to buck Griff off.
And that's the end of the fight! Exquisite Griff comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Griff winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
