We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcgert not doing much here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sullivan can do anything to dispel that myth. Mcgert tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sullivan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. #T1# Sullivan wants to control but Mcgert is keeping busy.

#R1##KD# Oooooh!!! Sullivan has knocked Cooley down with a huge combo! Sullivan steps away and waves a wobbly Cooley back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT#It looks like Reynaldo Cooley has been cut. Cooley loses concentration momentarily and Sullivan pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Cooley crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Sullivan finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

After the fight, Eddie Sullivan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
