#R1# Soialo throws a series of punches but Pear avoids them all with ease. Soialo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Soialo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pear scores with a hook to the body. Soialo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Pear is looking to slow Soialo down with leg kicks. Pear takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A leg kick checked by Soialo. Pear throws a jab but it's blocked by Soialo. Pear avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Soialo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Soialo.#CUT2#It looks like Saint Pear has been cut. Soialo tries to bum rush Pear with a series of wild strikes but Pear uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pear feints and then cracks Soialo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Soialo down. Soialo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pear misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Soialo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pear moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Pear throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Soialo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pear makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Soialo misses with a series of wild punches.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Pear for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.#T2# Pear gets through Soialo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Pear is struggling to control the position. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pear creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A quick uppercut on the inside from Pear. Pear is pushing Soialo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Come on Pear - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Pear throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Pear lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Pear pressing his opponent against the cage. #T3# The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Saint Pear.#CL# Pear moves into the clinch successfully.
Pear pushes Soialo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A shot in the inside from Pear. #TD# Pear has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Soialo is trying to keep an underhook but Pear manages to get the takedown into half guard. Pear trying to control the pace. #T4# Pear throws a strike but Soialo avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Pear stays in close to Soialo's body and controls the position. Pear looking to pass the guard. Pear controls the pace of the fight for a moment.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Pear scoring well with a low kick there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pear connects with a high kick. Pear ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

#R1# Kriel goes for a double leg but Pear avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pear continues to drive forward. Kriel is looking to take this one to the mat. Still in the clinch, Pear scores with a nice short uppercut. Kriel tries for a takedown but Pear manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luan Kriel. That's going to take a lot out of him. A left hand lands to the body for Pear.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pear creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Pear gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kriel.
Kriel is breathing heavily. Pear presses Kriel against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Pear is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kriel is defending well for now. Nice body punch from Pear. Pear lands an uppercut. Pear lands with a short head shot on the inside. Pear lands a left hand.
A nice right hand lands inside from Pear. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pear creates a bit of distance and cracks Kriel with a massive left hook! Kriel crumples out of camera shot, completely unconscious! He's been Nelmarked! Pear stares at him for a moment then struts over to his corner, victorious.

#R1# McAllister shoots in looking for a takedown but Pear manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McAllister's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Pear displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McAllister. Pear lands a leg kick that knocks McAllister off balance momentarily. That's going to take a lot out of him. McAllister fails with a takedown attempt. Pear lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. James McAllister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McAllister shoots in looking for a takedown. Pear tries to sprawl out of it but McAllister keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pear manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Pear stuffs the takedown attempt from McAllister. McAllister gets slowly back to his feet. Pear is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pear throws a leg kick but McAllister moved away. A punch lands to the side of McAllister 's head but he takes it in his stride. McAllister misses with a takedown attempt and Pear counters with a stiff right hand. Horrible takedown attempt by McAllister or perhaps it was just good defense by Pear, which made it look bad. Despite the aggression on Pear's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. McAllister with a lazy takedown attempt and Pear counters with a slapping leg kick. #T1# McAllister fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Pear is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. McAllister is breathing heavily. Pear jabs McAllister right on the nose. McAllister blinks but takes it well. McAllister steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pear. That one must have hurt.#KD2# Oooooh!!! Pear has knocked McAllister down with a huge combo! Pear steps away and waves a wobbly McAllister back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2#McAllister is rocked! McAllister drops his hands momentarily. Pear doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. McAllister staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. McAllister doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Pear gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.#CUT#It looks like Saint Pear has been cut. Leznir misses with a few strikes there.
Pear throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Leznir ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pear lands a nice leg kick that just misses Leznir's sensitive parts. Pear jabbing away but nothing is landing. A solid leg kick lands there for Pear.
Pear throws a right hand that Leznir ducks under and follows up with a left that Leznir also avoids with ease. Pear on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. A short right hand to the side of the head by Pear. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#TD# Leznir has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Pear regains guard immediately. Leznir scoring with punches to the head and body. Leznir loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Pear is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Leznir throws a big elbow that misses. #T1# Leznir working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Leznir is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Leznir works over Pear with some ground and pound from guard. Leznir trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Leznir with a nice head shot there. Leznir passes Pear's left leg - he's now in half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Leznir lands a nice short elbow.#CUT#That has opened up Saint Pear's cut even more. Leznir throwing shots but Pear is blocking nicely. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Leznir connects with a nice short shot to Pear's temple. #CUT#The cut above Saint Pear's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Leznir slips a nice elbow through Pear's hands, connecting with Pear's forehead.#T2# Leznir controlling the pace. Pear tries to roll over but Leznir keeps him under control. Pear blocking the ground and pound attempt from Leznir. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Leznir throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Leznir drops an elbow to the side of Pear's head. Pear trying to control but Leznir postures up.
Leznir missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Leznir seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. #CUT#Saint Pear's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Saint Pear's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
