Boy moves in looking to clinch but Meridius pushes him off. Left hook, right uppercut from Meridius. #CUT2# It looks like Jay Boy has been cut. Boy throws a hook but Meridius blocks it.#KD2# Meridius drops Boy with a big left hand and mounts him. Boy is in big trouble! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Meridius controlling from the full mount. Boy is controlling an arm, preventing Meridius from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Meridius controlling the pace for now. Meridius takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Boy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Meridius on the ground.#T1# Meridius punishes Boy with strikes from the back mount. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Meridius lands a massive punch from the back that knocks Boy out cold! Meridius jumps to his feet and celebrates wildly with his corner.
