Capwell is figuring out what he wants to do next. Capwell is pressing down on Velka's thigh, looking to free his foot. Velka is holding on for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Capwell takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#T1# Capwell has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Capwell takes one to the chin there.#TD# Capwell shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Velka's guard. Capwell engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Capwell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Velka swivels though and keeps the full guard. Velka is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. #T2# Capwell passes easily into side control. Nice work. Velka is being controlled here. Capwell tries to move to mount but Velka blocks the move with his legs. Capwell moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Capwell fails with the takedown. Velka let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Velka thows a left - swing and a miss! Velka looks to throw the jab but Capwell is out of range. Velka cracks Capwell with an open hand slap. Capwell dives in and grabs Velka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Velka pushes down on Capwell's head and hops out. Capwell shoots in but Velka avoids the takedown attempt easily.#CL2# Velka pushes Capwell up against the cage in a clinch. Velka tries a knee to the head but Capwell blocks it.

Miklo Velka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Velka has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Velka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Capwell paws at him with a jab and circles away. A nice leg kick lands there from Velka. Capwell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Capwell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Capwell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Capwell takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Capwell has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Velka. Velka ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Velka shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Capwell eats them both and turns towards Velka to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Velka with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Capwell is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Capwell is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Velka pulls him back up using the underhooks. A shot in the inside from Velka. Miklo Velka seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. A nice left hand lands by Velka.

Velka clobbers Capwell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Miklo Velka is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Oh Capwell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice body kick from Velka. Capwell just misses with a punch to the body.

Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Alejandro Scott and Miklo Velka. The crowd seem to be enjoying Velka's choice of entrance music: Cypress Hill - Insane In The Membrane. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 0 losses; Alejandro Scott! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 0 losses; Miklo Velka! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Scott closes the distance and clinches. Velka wants to take the fight to the mat but Scott manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Velka tries to score a body lock takedown but Scott shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Scott decides to pull guard. Velka slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Scott has his hands on Velka's head, controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott controls Velka momentarily but Velka frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott wants to sweep but no luck.
