While spending time in a juvenile detention centre for street fighting and general thuggery, Yon-Seo and his peers received a talk from reformed criminal turned MMA world champion Benson Whyte. The words of Kitano Fight Gym's striking coach got through to the young man as upon release, he moved to Tokyo to train in MMA. Along the way he found God and opened a curry stand to feed the homeless and less fortunate for free. |
