Up until he was 18, Anpu resided in Luxor, Egypt. Then he met his friend Dave Strauss. Strauss was from New York city where he participated in MMA. After taking a trip to NY and watching his friend fight, Anpu realized MMA was his calling. Strauss began training Anpu in MMA, and helped him move to New York for full time training. Anpu then had a short stint with QFC and APG, recording a 2-1 record. Now, he is part of Eastern Elite Combat, and is looking to make a name for himself.
