Abel was supposed to surpass everything that his father had accomplished but injuries have derailed his career thus far. These injuries resulted in previous managers to cut ties with Abel before he was able to compete in a pro fight. Abel just waited for someone else to take a shot on him using all of his free time to study film and learn the ins and outs of every aspect of MMA.
