#R1# Etchecopar feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fingers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Etchecopar moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Finger avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
#CL2# Etchecopar clinches up with Finger and pushes him back against the cage. Etchecopar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Fingers head. Etchecopar lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Finger backwards. Finger wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Etchecopar has him pressed against the cage. Etchecopar displaying some good clinch control by pressing Finger up against the cage. Etchecopar pushes Finger back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Etchecopar working some nice short punches in the clinch. Finger wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Etchecopar digs a right hand into Finger's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Finger's gas tank. Etchecopar keeps control of Finger as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Etchecopar working Finger over with knees to the body. Finger is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Finger looking to slow down the pace here. A short right from Etchecopar. Etchecopar lands a good knee to the midsection. Finger won't want to take too many of those.#T1##KD2# Etchecopar drops Finger with a big knee straight up the middle! Finger is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! #ROC2# Finger is rocked! Etchecopar with a body punch. A glancing blow. Oh Finger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Etchecopar lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Finger crumples to the floor! Etchecopar milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

#R1# A looping hook to the body misses from Tonu. Jr Ii does a little dance to reset his feet. Jr Ii misses with a looping left. Tonu is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Jr Ii moves away from the strike by Tonu. Jr Ii is looking to counter the offense by Tonu and move into the clinch. Jr Ii throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tonu throws out a counter right but Jr Ii avoids it with no problem. Tonu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As Tonu tries to get set, Jr Ii tries to push him back and clinch up but Tonu manages to avoid the attempt. Tonu avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Tonu ducks under a wild hook from Jr Ii. Jr Ii uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tonu.

Jr Ii uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Jr Ii tries to clinch but Tonu moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tonu keeps the fight on the outside. Tonu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jr Ii. Jr Ii throws a looping overhand right but Tonu ducks down to avoid it. Tonu looks like he wants to counter punch here.#TD2# Tonu shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tonu was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tonu trying to control the position but Jr Ii is working away. #SUB2# Tonu is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jr Ii looks calm but he's in trouble here. Tonu gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jr Ii is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Tonu lets go of the hold and Jr Ii can pop his arm back in it's socket.

#R1# Tonu lands a glancing blow to the side of Dropout's head. Dropout moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Dropout tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tonu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dropout somewhat. Tonu takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tonu connects with a body shot that sends Dropout's belly button to the back. Dropout throws a jab but it's blocked by Tonu. Dropout shoots in looking for a takedown but Tonu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dropout's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dropout throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Tonu looks like he wants to counter punch here. A punch lands to the side of Dropout 's head but he takes it in his stride. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dropout fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tonu manages to avoid it. Edward Tonu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tonu ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Dropout shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tonu as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tourney Dropout. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tonu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tonu is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Tonu tries to land a sweep but no joy. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tonu can do anything to dispel that myth. Dropout postures up.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dropout controlling the action here. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Edward Tonu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dropout lands a jab to Tonu's midsection. Tonu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Dropout takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Tonu tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dropout wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
