McGordon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Long throws a low kick but Williams moves out of range easily.
Williams looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Williams steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Long.
Long darts in looking for a takedown but Williams gets double underhooks and turns Long into the cage.
Williams shoots in for a takedown but Long shows good takedown defense.
Long swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
No luck for Long with that takedown attempt.

It looks like Mathew Williams has been cut.
Williams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Long fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Williams avoids it really well and circles away.

Long is pawing at Williams, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Williams's nose. Williams is badly hurt! Long pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Williams tries desperately to hold on but Long is relentless in his assault! As Williams receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Long away and this one is in the books!
