Tate Jr lands with an uppercut that bounces Hanson off the cage and back into range. Hanson closes the distance looking to clinch and Tate Jr counters with a lovely shot to the body. Hanson fails in his attempt to clinch. Tate Jr fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Tate Jr lunges at Hanson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hanson's hand. #CL# Hanson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tate Jr, pushing him back against the cage. Hanson trying to stall but Tate Jr improves his position.

Heath throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Girith's body to avoid the submission. Girith has instead reached around Heath's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Girith arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

#R1# Kiriko tries to clinch but Howard is having none of it. Howard half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Kiriko is looking to clinch. Howard takes a swing at Kiriko's ribcage but misses. #TD# Kiriko gets caught napping as Howard dives in and scores a takedown. Kiriko manages to retain guard. Howard with a flurry of punches that miss. Howard prevents Kiriko from getting back to his feet. Kiriko is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Howard stays in close to Kiriko's body and controls the position. We've been hearing that Howard has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Howard passes Kiriko's right leg, so he's now in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Howard is working for a submission of some sort.
Kiriko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Howard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. #R1# Bishop shoots for a takedown but Alaskiano saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.#CL2# Alaskiano has taken the fight to the clinch.
Alaskiano looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bishop goes for a takedown attempt but Alaskiano pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
#TD2# Alaskiano drives through with a takedown into Bishop's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Alaskiano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bishop swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bishop can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Alaskiano controls the pace.#SUB# Bishop looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Alaskiano passes into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alaskiano seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bishop does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. #T1# Alaskiano not landing any meaningful shots this time.
