Karl Drogo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drogo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Drogo connects with an inside leg kick. Punch misses with a series of wild punches.
Punch takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Drogo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Punch's hands.#KD# Oooh a lovely combination from Drogo sends Punch down but not out. Drogo dives into side control looking to finish. #ROC# Punch is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Smash Punch has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Punch struggling a bit here. Punch looks winded! Punch being controlled for a moment. #T1# Drogo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.#KD# Drogo throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Punch stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Drogo follows into mount! #T2# Drogo controlling the pace for now. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#SU# Drogo is standing up, even though he is in mount. Drogo lands with a thumping leg kick.

Karl Drogo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A good leg kick by Drogo. Drogo throws a series of punches but Punch moves out of range. Sloppy strikes from Punch. Those never looked like landing. Drogo is pawing at Punch, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Punch's nose. Punch is badly hurt! Drogo pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Punch tries desperately to hold on but Drogo is relentless in his assault! As Punch receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Drogo away and this one is in the books!

#R1# Kvasir tries to score a power double leg takedown but Manning sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kvasir somewhat. Kvasir shoots in looking for a takedown. Manning tries to sprawl out of it but Kvasir keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Manning manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jab by Manning. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manning scores with a shot to the body.
Manning scores with a nice strike.#KD2# Oooooh!!! Manning has knocked Kvasir down with a huge combo! Manning steps away and waves a wobbly Kvasir back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT2# It looks like Djin Kvasir has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Manning leaves Kvasir with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Djin Kvasir. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1# Nice uppercut there from Manning. Kvasir avoids the body shot from Manning.
Kvasir fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Troy Manning is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Manning catches Kvasir with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Manning connects with a body shot that sends Kvasir's belly button to the back. Kvasir looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kvasir gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #CL2# and Manning holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Manning displaying some good clinch control by pressing Kvasir up against the cage. Kvasir is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.#T2# Kvasir has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Manning is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Manning prevents the takedown attempt.

Kvasir takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Manning connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kvasir. Kvasir circles away out of range and recomposes himself.#ROC2# Kvasir is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kvasir gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Manning points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Kvasir wakes up just in time to hear Manning thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

#ROC# Wrench is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Engilsh Wrench has been cut. Wrench looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Power throws a nice outside leg kick. Wrench is still on wobbly legs! Can Power finish him? Wrench leaves his chin hanging out and Power seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Wrench crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

A very excited looking Max Power made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Punch tries to bum rush Starks with a series of wild strikes but Starks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.#CL# Starks has managed to clinch.

#R1##TD2# Manchu scores with a takedown into Rogers's guard. Manchu won't allow Rogers to sweep him here. Rogers is controlling Manchu's posture. Rogers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Manchu's guard. #REVR# Manchu being controlled here, momentarily. Manchu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rogers engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Manchu can do anything to dispel that myth. Rogers works a leg free and moves into half guard. #T1# Rogers seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Manchu wants to control but Rogers is keeping busy and won't allow it. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Rogers is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Manchu! Rogers controlling the pace for now. #T3# Rogers seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Manchu for as long as he can get away with.#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Manchu is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Rogers has taken his back.

Rogers did well to prevent Manchu getting side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Manchu slows the pace down in half guard. #SUB# Rogers is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Manchu pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Manchu in particular looking to stall. The fighters are battling for position here. Rogers manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Manchu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rogers works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rogers is pulling down on Manchu's head. It's preventing any offense from Manchu, at least for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rogers is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Rogers controlling the pace. #T3# Rogers passes to side control. #SUB# Rogers working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rogers remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Rogers tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Rogers is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Manchu's shoulder. That is not cool. #T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rogers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. #R1# Hooligan throws a right hand that Wrench ducks under and follows up with a left that Wrench also avoids with ease. Wrench shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hooligan pinned against the cage. Hooligan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wrench will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hooligan throws a right and a left that Wrench avoids nicely. Wrench seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Hooligan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hooligan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wrench moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hooligan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Hooligan throws a nice looking combination but Wrench bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hooligan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hooligan wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Engilsh Wrench. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wrench is breathing heavily. Wrench is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hooligan looks to land a combination but Wrench avoids it well. Hooligan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wrench tries to counter by clinching up but Hooligan breaks away and moves out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Wrench gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.#ROC2# Wrench is rocked! Hooligan plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Wrench swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Wrench face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

#R1# Wrench on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Wrench doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sherman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Sherman jabs Wrench to the body, keeping him at a distance. Sherman connects with a single shot there. Nice body punch from Sherman. Wrench looks winded! Sherman takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Wrench takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Sherman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sherman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wrench stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sherman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Wrench misses with a takedown attempt enabling Sherman to counter with a crisp jab. Wrench walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.#ROC# Wrench is rocked! BOOM! Sherman lands a beautiful left hook that drops Wrench. Wrench tries to recover but Sherman is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Wrench lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

It looked like Kvasir was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Troy Manning seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Manning, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kvasir looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kvasir shoots in but no luck this time. Manning lands a slapping body shot.

An attempted straight right counter from Kvasir misses the target. Manning takes a swing at Kvasir's ribcage but misses. Kvasir shoots in but Manning avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manning lands a really nice looking cross but Kvasir seems unphased.
