Baez tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#CL# Goodman closes the distance and clinches. Goodman tries to pull guard but Baez holds him up against the cage and eventually Goodman drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daxx Goodman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Goodman has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Goodman wants to break the clinch but can't.

He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Baez! He's tightened the choke and Baez is tapping out!

#R1# Moral tries to clinch up enabling Fredholm to counter with a crisp jab. Fredholm lands a big head kick that sends Moral to the canvas! Fredholm follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

#R1##TD# Cardona bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Nathan is not content to let Cardona control the position. #SUB# Cardona goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Nathan rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Cardona's guard! Nice work there by Nathan! #SUB# Cardona throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Nathan escapes and throws Cardona's legs to the side, diving into side control! Nathan working the body and head with strikes. You can see the frustration on Cardona's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cardona takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Rotunda throws out a powerful jab. Rotunda scores with a one two! Affion had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. #CUT# It looks like Tommy Affion has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rotunda throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rotunda misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Goodman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. #T1# Goodman is thwarting Bannett's attempts to control the position. Bannett scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Goodman manages to mount him!

#R1# Nosula slaps away a takedown attempt from Nathan, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nosula is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Nosula looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Nathan dives in and grabs Nosula's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nosula pushes down on Nathan's head and hops out. Nathan is looking to clinch but Nosula is avoiding it.
Nathan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Nathan shoots in but no luck this time. #R1# Duststorm gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Moral. Duststorm looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!#TD2# Moral closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Duststorm's guard.#SU2# Moral gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Moral keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.#TD2# Moral feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Moral preventing the sweep. Moral with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Moral slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Let's hope that Moral has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T1# Moral's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Moral. Moral postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Moral stands and throws Duststorm's legs to the side, diving into side control. Moral connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Duststorm some visible discomfort.

Duststorm was covering up waiting for the punch and Moral finishes the takedown easily into guard. Moral slips nicely into half guard. Moral should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Moral looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Duststorm with a short hammerfist. Duststorm seems a little lost for a moment, as Moral dominates the positioning. Moral is continuing to stall. Moral is chipping away with strikes.
