Our sources have told us that Pederson has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Dean's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Pederson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

#SUB2# Dean throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pederson escapes and throws Dean's legs to the side, diving into side control! Pederson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dean keeps working. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pederson wants to control for a moment but Dean uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Dean wants to improve his position but Pederson is controlling well.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bryant working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Poli wants to improve his position but Bryant is controlling well.
Bryant is nestled in close to Poli, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Poli is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Phoenix Mixed Martial Arts, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Bryant is trying to control. Johnson just leaning against Bryant, taking a breather. Johnson avoids a wild elbow strike from Bryant.#BC# Bryant escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnson misses with a low kick. Bryant tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Johnson defends well and Bryant ends up having to push Johnson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Johnson tests Bryant's chin there with a solid looking shot. Johnson connects with a right hand. Bryant shakes it off. Bryant tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Johnson just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson cracks Bryant with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Bryant moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off. A telegraphed right hand from Johnson misses the target. Bryant pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Oh Bryant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Johnson steps in with a hook that catches Bryant right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Johnson follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Bryant looks absolutely devastated.

Nick Johnson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

#R1# Wowie ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Wowie clobbers Spencer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. We've been hearing reports that Spencer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.#TD# Spencer scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.#ES2# Wowie bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Wowie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Spencer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Spencer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wowie. A jab from Wowie misses. Spencer jabs Wowie right on the nose. Wowie blinks but takes it well. Wowie fails to land with a series of punches.
Spencer tries to counter by clinching up but Wowie breaks away and moves out of range. Spencer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Spencer looks to land a right hand but Wowie moved out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Spencer. Wowie does a little dance to reset his feet. Wowie connects with a crisp jab. Wowie works Spencer's body with a nice hook. Wowie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Spencer topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Wowie dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Wowie!

Michalak swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rack walks into a left hand. #CUT# It looks like Brandon Rack has been cut. Michalak seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Rack stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Michalak. Stefan Michalak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A shot to the liver by Michalak. Beautiful body shot. Michalak scores with a body shot.
Nice sprawl there from Michalak as Rack shoots in. Rack with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Michalak to score with a decent uppercut.#ROC# Rack is rocked!
