Beddo works over Banget's head and body with a nice combination. Banget tries for a takedown but Beddo circles away easily enabling Beddo to counter with a crisp jab. Banget on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Beddo. Beddo obviously looking to wear him down.
Beddo lands a really nice looking cross but Banget seems unphased.
Beddo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Banget might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. #R1# Mewes lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Krupok chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mewes can pounce on him.
Mewes delivers a nice body kick. Krupok misses with a double jab

Mewes is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Krupok will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.#SU# Mewes decides to take the fight back to the feet. #TD# Mewes is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Krupok's half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Mewes is taking a breather. Krupok says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Krupok can do anything to dispel that myth. Mewes seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Krupok for as long as he can get away with.#T1# Mewes's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conor Mcgregor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mcgregor is breathing heavily. Krupok with a nice cross. Krupok throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Mcgregor's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Krupok dives in looking to finish as Mcgregor flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Krupok's strikes! Krupok is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Mcgregor's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Mcgregor was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Banget has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Miles lands a hook that snaps the head of Banget backwards. A quick uppercut on the inside from Miles. Miles prevents a takedown attempt there.

Brickstock went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#T1##KD# Brickstock lands a left and a right that send Lesmono crashing to the mat, dazed. Brickstock thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#CUT# It looks like Sukro Lesmono has been cut. Brickstock connects with a stiff jab that staggers Lesmono - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Coming avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Coming was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Coming moves out of range of the strikes. Krupok fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A combination from Krupok does no damage. Coming seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Krupok is looking to clinch but Coming is avoiding it.

Pocc with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Krupok to score with a decent uppercut. Krupok tries to bum rush Pocc with a series of wild strikes but Pocc uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pocc gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Krupok counters with a nice uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Krupok misses with a series of wild punches.
