#R1# Gracie misses the shot to the body. #TD# Aronna dives in and scores a takedown into Gracie's guard.#SUB2# Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
#SUB# Aronna drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Aronna off! Aronna jumps back into Gracie's guard. Aronna has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#SUB2# Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Aronna gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gracie wants to stand and escape but Aronna is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Aronna looking to improve position, pressing down on Gracie's thigh with his hand. Gracie seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Aronna paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Aronna's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Gracie picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Korn Gracie! Korn Gracie is the new welterweight champion!
