#R1##TD# Stroganov feints and as Poika raises his hands in defense, Stroganov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Stroganov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Poika is proving hard to escape from. Stroganov distracts Poika with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Poika bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stroganov's guard. #REVB##SUB2# Poika drops back looking for a leg! Stroganov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stroganov manages to kick Poika off! Poika jumps back into Stroganov's guard. #SUB2# Poika is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Poika trying to control but Stroganov is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stroganov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #T1# Stroganov keeping full guard, as Poika tries to pass. #SUB2# Poika drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Poika jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Stroganov keeping moving, preventing Poika from controlling successfully. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Poika working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Poika passes easily into side control. Nice work.#SUB2# Poika working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. #T2# Stroganov tries to escape but Poika is in control. Poika controlling the position. #SUB2# Poika tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Poika gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ziuzlikov lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shin Bum is trying to keep Ziuzlikov in close.
Ziuzlikov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Shin Bum bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shin Bum can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #SUB# Shin Bum got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ziuzlikov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! #R1# Valdaev gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #CL# and Ho counters by moving into the clinch. Ho softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Valdaev has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ho after a bit of a struggle. Ho is pushing Valdaev up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Ho is defending well against a takedown attempt. Hi Ho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maxim Valdaev. Ho prevents the takedown attempt.

Valdaev has Ho pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ho manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Ho lands a nice uppercut. Valdaev goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ho prevents it.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Valdaev hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Diaz tries to score a body lock takedown but Stroganov shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Stroganov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Stroganov wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Diaz has him pressed against the cage. Stroganov is trying to force a seperation but Diaz has the dominant position. Stroganov jumps guard but Diaz turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. #TD# Diaz works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. #R1# Nice shot lands for Liu. Hudson shoots in and drives through. Liu sprawls well. Saul Hudson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hudson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liu swivels and escapes. Liu looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Liu lands with a kick to the temple. Hudson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" #CUT# It looks like Saul Hudson has been cut. Hudson fails with the takedown. Balagot Liu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Hudson. Hudson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. #ROC# Hudson is rocked! Liu lands a nice shot to the body.
Hudson darts in looking for a takedown but Liu gets double underhooks and turns Hudson into the cage. Hudson's coach down at Tycoon Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hudson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Hudson shoots and misses and Liu counters with a nice leg kick. Hudson looks winded! Hudson with a lazy takedown attempt and Liu counters with a huge left! Hudson is in big trouble! He's backing up but Liu isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hudson from any more damage. A dominating finish by Liu!

Sazonov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sazonov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #CUT# It looks like Sergey Sazonov has been cut. Sazonov has his takedown stuffed and Rodriguez counters with a crisp right that sends Sazonov to the canvas! Rodriguez follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Wu Cao tries to avoid it but Hudson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wu Cao to the ground. Wu Cao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wu Cao steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hudson. Horrible takedown attempt by Wu Cao or perhaps it was just good defense by Hudson, which made it look bad. Hudson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wu Cao defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saul Hudson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wu Cao throws a series of punches but Hudson avoids them all with ease. #CL2# Wu Cao moves into the clinch. Wu Cao gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hudson.

Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
