McDonald circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Ryouchi tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! McDonald wins by KO!

It appears Palmer was looking to counter with a kick there.
Palmer stuffs the takedown attempt from Timmons . Timmons gets slowly back to his feet.
Palmer throws a poor cross that misses
and Timmons counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Palmer.
Palmer moves out of range as Timmons strikes.
Palmer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Timmons has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Palmer tries to land a front kick but Timmons steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Timmons checks the leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Timmons , as that shot connected.
Timmons misses with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palmer misses the jab.
Timmons looks to land a combination but Palmer avoids it well.
Timmons connects with the punch.

Timmons remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
