Francor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blankenship closes the distance and clinches up with Francor, looking for a takedown. Blankenship pushes Francor against the cage but Francor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jakobe Blankenship. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blankenship avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Blankenship looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Francor throws a hook but Blankenship avoids it easily. Blankenship went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Blankenship fails with a takedown attempt. Francor throws a head kick but Blankenship moves out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blankenship goes for a double leg but Francor avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Francor continues to drive forward.#TD# Blankenship lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Horrible takedown attempt by Blankenship or perhaps it was just good defense by Francor, which made it look bad. Francor stuffs the takedown. Francor was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Francor lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Blankenship chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Francor can pounce on him.

Davis backing away here, and Nakamura unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Nakamura gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Davis. Nice body punch from Davis. Nakamura closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Davis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nakamura tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A little feinted left hand from Davis on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Davis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nakamura looks winded! A left lands for Davis. Nakamura takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. #CL# Nakamura gets tackled into the cage by Davis. Davis maintains the clinch. The crowd are loving this. The ref decides that Nakamura is in need of a savior and steps in!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dibiassi wants to stand up but Stroganov is controlling him. Stroganov lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dibiassi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stroganov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stroganov with a nice head shot there. Dibiassi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stroganov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stephens swats away the attempt to clinch by Verse. Sloppy strikes from Verse. Those never looked like landing. Verse works over Stephens's head and body with a nice combination.#CL2# Verse rushes Stephens and presses him up against the cage. Stephens jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Verse walks away with a smile on his face. Stephens gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Verse fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.#CL2# Verse instigates a clinch. Verse is working Stephens over against the cage. Verse leaning his opponent against the cage. Verse works on Stephens's body with a couple of short punches.#T1##BC2# Verse manages to break the clinch.

Danish looks up at the clock and then as Davis takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Danish smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
