Prigozhin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Verse circles away quickly and effectively. Verse takes a shot right to the bread basket. Verse misses with a few strikes there.
Prigozhin unleashes a big counter combination but Verse bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Verse throws the left hand but Prigozhin avoids the punch easily.#CL# Verse pushes Prigozhin up against the cage in a clinch. Verse lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Prigozhin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Verse blocks it with crossed arms. Verse stalling.

and Dibiassi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Master lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Master is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dibiassi misses with a jab, cross combination.

Master is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dibiassi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Dibiassi takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Patron displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Verse throws out the jab. Verse swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Patron uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Verse. Sloppy strikes from Verse. Those never looked like landing. Verse fails to land with a series of punches.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Pollio jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Chace is looking to stand up but Pollio isn't so interested in that idea. Pollio pushes down on Chace's leg and manages to get into half guard. Pollio is nestled in close to Chace, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.#CUT#It looks like Krispen Chace has been cut. Chace tries to kick Pollio off but Pollio keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Pollio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1# Chace is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Nunez walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Nunez limp body while Sureshot jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gilmore has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Verse throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

We've been told by Garrison's head coaches at Vancouver Island Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Quinn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Garrison throws out the jab. Cade Quinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Garrison misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kat throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mckee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kat takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Mckee throws a right and a left that Kat avoids nicely. Kat shoots for a double leg takedown but Mckee sprawls well. He's pushed Kat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick by Kat misses and Mckee counters with a three punch combo that has Kat backing up. Kat nods at Mckee to acknowledge the strikes. Mckee goes for a high kick. It partially lands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Both fighters circling a little - Mckee finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Mckee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
