Pettis dives in looking to finish as Baxter flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Pettis's strikes! Pettis is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Baxter's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Baxter was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Horrible takedown attempt by Fairweather or perhaps it was just good defense by Collins, which made it look bad.
Fairweather has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Fairweather takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bombs thuds a left hand into Fairweather's body.
Bombs comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Bombs moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
