Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!#TD2# Falwell gets caught flat footed, as Ciccone shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.#SUB2# Ciccone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #SUB2# Ciccone drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ciccone seems to have locked his on tight now - Falwell screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ciccone, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Enrico Ciccone! In defeat, Yahweh Falwell stepped up to the mic, saying 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I rolled more instead of praying, I might have learned to defend submissions. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.

#R1# A lazy left from Bullar finds it's target.#CL# Bullar rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage. Bullar takes an elbow to the forehead. #BC2# Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
#CL# Bullar clinches. Bullar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Williams backwards. Williams tries to break free but Bullar pushes him back against the cage. A short left from Bullar. Bullar lands a nice uppercut. A right hook to the body lands for Bullar.
Bullar lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Williams backwards. Williams takes a shot to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A right handed body shot lands from Bullar.

#SU# Bullar gets to his feet. Williams looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Patrick Bullar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams is looking to clinch. Bullar smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.#CL# Williams gets tackled into the cage by Bullar. Bullar lands a body punch. Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Bullar finish him? Bullar lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Williams to his knees! Bullar keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

#R1# Kulina is trying hard to land a takedown here. Williams sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. #CL2# Williams clinches up with Kulina and pushes him back against the cage.#TD2# Williams gets control of Kulina's arms and successfully pulls guard. Williams will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Williams is trying to hold Kulina in close to prevent damage but Kulina has managed to pass into half guard.
Williams avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kulina. Williams is controlling Kulina's position as best he can from this difficult position. Kulina scores with a couple of good hammerfists. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kulina throwing shots but Williams is blocking nicely. #ES2# Williams kicks off Kulina and gets to his feet. Williams tries to bum rush Kulina with a series of wild strikes but Kulina uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kulina throws a wild combination but nothing lands. #TD2# Williams closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Williams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#T1# Williams prevents Kulina from improving his position. Kulina might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Williams is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Kulina not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kulina utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kulina has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nate Kulina. Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
