#R1# Woods walks into a stiff left hand from Sakuraba.#TD2# Woods feints and as Sakuraba raises his hands in defense, Woods changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Sakuraba escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Woods gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB# Sakuraba working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Woods doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Woods manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Sakuraba keeping moving, preventing Woods from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Woods accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Woods trying to control the position from guard on top but Sakuraba is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sakuraba definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Sakuraba is staying active underneath Canetti, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Canetti prevents Sakuraba from improving his position. Sakuraba is trying to maintain the position but Canetti is very close to passing his half guard. Sakuraba is looking for a sweep. Canetti is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sakuraba is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. #R1# Sakuraba goes for a double leg but Tucker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tucker continues to drive forward. Tucker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tucker wants it to stay on the feet. Sakuraba just misses with a punch to the body.
Tucker scores with a jab. Sakuraba acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Tucker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sakuraba. Max tries to buck Hetfield off but Hetfield is having none of it. Hetfield in side control, just content to control the action for now. Max can't do much from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hetfield takes a little break here. Max wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Max is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hetfield is controlling him well. Hetfield dives in looking to finish as Max flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Hetfield's strikes! Hetfield is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Max's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Max was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ari Kantola (ranked 5585 p4p, 552 weight class) and Horacio Martins (ranked 21445 p4p, 767 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. Indigo Starseed is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors.
