If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hammerfist, elbow! yells MP's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kong wants to stand and escape but MP is having none of it. MP is in close to Kong's body, working some short punches and elbows. MP wants to control from the top but Kong keeps moving. MP scoring with some ground and pound. MP is in close to Kong's body, working some short punches and elbows. MP chips away with some ground and pound. MP with a nice head shot there.#ROC#Kong is rocked! MP stands up over Kong, holding on to his feet. MP throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Kong is out cold! MP lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

#TD2# Britton drives through with a takedown into Kong's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Britton scoring with some ground and pound. Britton lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Britton working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Britton forces his way into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Britton lands a nice short elbow. Kong might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kong taking some punishment here, with Britton in his half guard. Britton drops an elbow to the side of Kong's head. Kong has hold of Britton's hands but Britton slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kong wants to get back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thorsby jumps guard but Kong stands there with Thorsby around his waist. Thorsby gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kong is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Thorsby must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kong tries to close the distance and clinch but Thorsby swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Thorsby is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Reele digs a right hand into Kong's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kong's gas tank. Reele lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Reele is looking to control Kong's arms but Kong gets an underhook and turns him. Now Reele has his back to the cage. Reele lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kong or not. Reele misses with a hook from the clinch. Reele blocks a body shot from Kong. Kong looking to throw knees to the head but Reele is blocking nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lang keeping moving, preventing Kong from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kong is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
